Destin

Jon and I had a wonderful time on our vacation. For those of you who don't know we were in Florida for a total of 10 days. All, except 1, were spent on the beach!! We started our trip in Panama City where Jon and his friends played softball. Their games did not go well but in the end we all had a blast hanging out together!

Our trip continued in Destin where Jon proposed!! We had a ton of fun and were beginning to forget what the "real" world was like. We spent most of our time on the beach together and we did venture out after. We walked around Baytowne Wharf,

Jon got thirsty during the game..., drove go- karts, ate lots of sea food, and walked around Harbor Walk Village.

Did I mention the we are ENGAGED?!!!!!!!

Kickball

Our kickball team kicks a**!! We had our first playoff game and of course we won! In the end the game was close. With the ball, the ground and each of us getting soaked it became harder to control the ball. It was pouring down rain and we were slipping, sliding, and falling all over the place, still a ton of fun!! It was Jamie's birthday and we enjoyed party hats and jello shots at the game (no we don't always look this good) with a party at the bar after :)

Small Update

I have a ton of pictures to share but right now I can't find the camera :( Anyway, I am enjoying my summer vacation sitting by the pool and playing kickball!! I am trying to keep myself busy with reading and cooking (yes cooking, and I've got the burns to prove it) the days seem to fly by!!

I am at school right now and unable to post pictures but I had to send out a blog that read

"LAST DAY OF SCHOOL!"

Yes, that's right today is my last day of school and summer can officially begin :) The children will be with me for another hour and 25 minutes then I am free!! I plan to spend my days at the pool, I can only hope the weather changes.

Week End Fun

This past weekend I took a quick trip home to NJ! This trip was extra special, one of my very best friends has become a mommy!! Dani and Chris brought a beautiful baby boy into the family on March 14th!! Take a look he is a doll:

I also had an opportunity to spend time with my family and other good friends! We went to my favorite Japanese restaurant then partied all night long at a local bar, enjoy the pics!

Happy Birthday!

On Thursday March 19th we celebrated my 27th birthday at El Azteca. We had a ton of fun and really enjoyed the nice weather, margritas, food, and friends. The celebration began at 3:00pm after school, most of us are teachers, and continued through the night ending will a 4-1 kickball victory!
